TAKE THE MULLIGAN

Instead of beating yourself up over

All the things you didn’t accomplish today,

All the items you didn’t ‘cross off your to-do list’,

All the resolutions you didn’t keep,

All the goals you didn’t smash…


Take a breath.

And then take a mulligan.


Just give it to yourself…


A free shot.

An unpenalized next attempt.

A chance for a ‘do-over’.


If you TAKE the mulligan though,

You have to commit to it.

You can’t wallow in self-pity later on,

Wishing you’d just ‘done it right’ the first time around.

The whole point of the mulligan is to forget the past, and move on from it.


So, go ahead.

Take the mulligan.

Pause, regroup, refocus…


And take another shot at it tomorrow.
