One year of parenting together.

Who throws the one-year anniversary party for the PARENTS?

Because I feel like we deserve a cake.

One year in,

And we're still working on finding our way back to each other.

Or rather,

Finding our new way forward,

Together.

Not as we once were,

But as we are now.

A brand new chapter...

One where we've definitely both been

The protagonist

AND the antagonist

Of the story.

Parenting is fun,

But it's definitely no joke...

It's full of sacrifice, compromise, disagreement, and frustration.

THANKFULLY,

It's also full of

A new type of love for your partner,

Exhausted but proud high-fives,

Tagging in when the other needs to tag out,

And lots and LOTS of hugs.

So, I say again -
